          Wow. I have been DEAD on here for a long time and that's for 2 reasons. One when I was on here frequently I got a really bad virus and have been paranod to go on DA with a PC. And two, I didn't feel like uploading art. BUT, I just had my 17th birthday and bought a new iPod touch with my saved up money. So now I can check and browse my DA freely, but I still won't be uploading much art except for a few art trades and gifts. So hooray for my return!

In other big updates I have very recently started a personal blog,  dungeonsanddaily.blogspot.com/… , on which I hope to stay faithful to. On it will be topics such as...
-D&D (our newest campaign with Shane, Sarah, Erika; and DM Owen. Also my opinions on the play testing of the upcoming new edition and various tidbits of my knowledge.)
-My life; frustrations, joys, and maybe advice?
-Other nerdy stuffs and opinions on various topics.

Ok, so and I were talking about how we could improve our Teen Library events and we came up with a very special brainchild!

We have dubbed it "Teens with Screens". Basically it would be a group that teens could sign up for and make short movies together and post them on YouTube. But there's a twist. Every month, one person is chosen at random to be the "Director". The Directer gets to write that month's movie (or have someone write it for them), cast it, and assign different filming jobs to the other members. And that month's Directer wouldn't be director again until everyone else gets to be the Director.  This way, everyone has their chance to shine and the possibilities are endless.

We would meet a couple times a month, once to assign jobs and perhaps twice to film the actual movie. No movie would be longer then 10 minutes. (That way we wouldn't be filming for weeks)

So guys, would you join a group like this? If so, tell ! I already spoke to her about it and she thinks that it would be a great idea!

And what am I doing on my Sweet 16? Nothing. Just random stuff. Nothing special. (I meant sure, I'd like friends to come and visit but that's unlikely)

Now that that's out of the way, I can give a better explaination of my meldown the otherday. I wasn't taking a perspective of an aged old gamer. I was taking the perspection of a person who appreciates soild characters and worlds, if that makes any sence. I mean, this about it? The D&D world (Greyhawk & Faerun) hasn't changed much over D&D history. The histories of the races and classes have pretty much stayed the same. Now, enter 4th edition. Everything you have known, is now CHANGED. It's almost like...it's not DnD anymore. And if you make a character in 4th and say you want to use the same character in a 3.5 game, well, that's impossible. And you can't do vice versa. It's just sad, really.

Anyways, I hope you all are having fun in life. While I just chill at home. *sigh*

SO! I'm now going to rant in order to make myself feel better. I do not blame you if you don't want to read this, BUT I MUST GET IT OUT!


Races:
Dragonborn: WRONG! In 3.5 (look in Races of the Dragon) Dragonborn are basically a race made up of people who heard the "call of Bahamut" and did a ritual and *POOF* they are now going to hunt evil dragons because Bahamut is so lawful stupid like that. In 4th...they are just half-dragons that aren't emo. And they like battle glory. DULL! Both are, but still!

Eldarin: Where did these come from? Basically they are fey/high/elves with moon tattoos.

Tiefling: YES! The only race that 4th did right! Tieflings are BA. Nuf said.

Other races: The same as 3.5 without the gnome. Good, I hate gnomes. They are creepy little buggers.

Classes:

Cleric, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, and Wizard: Ok, there is some cool new feat and class opions but overall still good.

Warlock: WTF! This replaced sorcerer?!!!?? What happened to "dragon heritage" and "inborn magical soul stuff"?! Now it's you make pacts to the fey, infernal hell, or the F*CKING stars?! WHYYY?!! THIS IS SOO WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS! Warlocks are like wizards who make pacts with creepy people to achieve their "destiny" SCREW THIS I am not making a pact with anyone!

Warlord: Basically a guy who shout commands and gives moral. NEXT!

Other: WHY?! NO bard, druid, sorcerer, or any of the prestige classes! Only the ones above with crappy paragon classes!!! Bard: Classic bard song and curse song, what party can do without? Druid: Kick ass nature people who come in bloody usefull in the wildrness. Sorcerer: My favorite beloved class is gone, GONE I tell you! And who cares if we had the same spells as wizards, at least we existed! I expected in 4th that the Sorcerer would have different spells then the wizard but the same concept. BUT MY OPEN MINDED HOPES WERE DASHED,DASHED I TELL YOU!!!!!!  Prestige Classes: the most common complaint about 3th edition is the lack of custimization. THAT'S WHAT PRESTIGE CLASSES ARE FOR STUPID!

*goes off to cry for a few moments*

*stiff* I'm a little better. One last thing before I try to sleep.
Gods and Goddess: Basically they replaced most of them with shitty god/esses with dieties that have vague descriptions. I really don't want to go into all of them, but unlike 3.5 gods/esses these have no personality. AND YONDALLA and BOCABOB ARE GONE! (They was my favs)





Oh wow, I just let out my inner troll. Now I feel much better.


I tried going in with an open mind but it was either not open enough or 4th edition SUCKS!
Give this edition to the noobs, I'll stick with my beloved favs.

(On a note, I didn't actually cry over this, I just put that in for drama. XD)

(But I did get a bad feeling in my tummy)
